The 2012 RIBA Awards have been announced and amongst the winners were Xsite Architecture LLP bagging two awards for the Toffee Factory in Newcastle upon Tyne, namely the Regional Sustainability Award and Building of the Year Award.

ed some striking hard landscaping materials with Landscape Architects TGP North of Durham, that included recyclable glass paving and Kellen modular concrete setts. Other notable Riba Awards where Hardscape were involved were North House in Bowdon, Saxton in Leeds, The Hepworth in Wakefield and the Turner Contemporary in Margate.
