The comprehensive package of works funded by the Business Improvement District and supplemented by further investment from the Bristol Alliance, Bristol City Council, the South West RDA and The Mall Bristol, involved new paving, seating, lighting, signage, landscaping and the refurbishment of some shop elevations. The aim was to create a far more stylish setting for shoppers with the street clutter swept away and replaced by street furniture and paving that picks up special themes of stainless steel and Bristol Blue Glass complementing the area around Cabot Circus.
