The role involves all aspects of project management, from the first stage of the initial enquiry right through to the despatch of product to site. Candidates should have the ability to make things happen and enable client’s instructions to be converted to reality. People with the desire to exceed client’s expectations are essential for this position. Ideally candidates should be recent graduates, possess good IT skills and be able to demonstrate competence in working in a sales office environment. Southern UK Sales Manager
Due to continued expansion Hardscape are seeking an external specification sales manager for their range of hard landscaping materials. The area to be covered is the South East of England, including central London and the successful candidate would be required to liaise with our Southern offices in Stratford-upon Avon. The role will involve all aspects of the sales process from sourcing new leads, presenting to clients, assisting with specifications, understanding tenders and bills of quantities, reading architectural drawings, raising quotes, negotiating with buyers to get the order and then ensuring suitable implementation on site. A high level of self-management will be required as well as project management to ensure service and delivery targets are met. Ideally the candidate will be experienced in presenting to landscape architects/engineers and architects. Ideally they should come with a hard landscaping background, although this is not essential and adjacent industries will be considered. Degree educated with a strong focus on customer service and an ability not only to understand our route to market but also to seek out new business opportunities whilst enhancing existing ones. Salary will be commensurate with experience, full training will be provided at both our regional offices.
