slave 1The Modern Slavery Act came into legislative law October 2015.

In the spirit of transparency on ethical trade along with our desire to eradicate labour & human rights abuse in our supply chain, Hardscape publicly confirm we are committed to the elimination of bonded, child, forced & slave labour at all tiers of our supply chain.

We achieve this by: The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is an alliance of companies, trade unions and non-governmental organisations, working in partnership to improve conditions for workers who supply goods to the UK and Ireland.

Member companies adopt the ETI base code which is an internationally recognised code of labour practice. Hardscape are ranked at achiever level within the membership category of ETI.

That means Hardscape have demonstrated good practice with a clear commitment to Ethical Trade by integrating ethics into our core business practices then driving year on year improvements to supply chain working conditions and that our business reports openly on our programmes.

The United Nations Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights (UNGP) are a framework to protect, respect and remedy human rights abuse within supply chains.

Hardscape actively integrate the framework model to all tiers of our supply chain through our work with ETI and are committed to the UNGPs.
