New Road Brighton rocks with Stone Federation award 2008
The biennial Natural Stone Awards 2008 took place at Lords Cricket Ground, London on Friday 21st November 2008. The procedings were compered by TV sports presenter Jim Rosenthal with the awards announced by 'voice of the balls' Alan Dedicoat. The Awards were presented by Stone Federation Great Britain recognising projects that exhibit exemplary design and execution of stonework. New Road, Brighton, took the Commended award in the landscaping category with Hardscape supplying Crystal Black, Classic, Kobra, Starburst and UB blend granites to the scheme in collaboration with Landscape Architects - Landscape Projects, Edburton contractors and Brighton and Hove City Council.
