News A three-year project at Cheshunt Park, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, was completed and officially opened on Wednesday 8 April 2009 with a ribbon cutting by the Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Mrs Carol Crump-Eynon. Officials from Heritage Lottery, contractors who worked on the project, including representatives from Hardscape, the Countryside Management Service and Broxbourne Council were invited to attend the event and take part in a walk around the site. The project has already provided improvements such as the addition of an easy access path with regularly spaced benches, a granite amphitheatre (Kobra granite supplied and designed by Hardscape) pond renovation, the provision of bat hibernation bricks, a newly planted community orchard with grazing pen for indigenous cattle and history interpretation boards around the site.
